Why MAAG was formed

The Story

MAAG was formed shortly after the discovery of the founder’s daughters fight for her life of substance use. This discovery created a ripple effect of life changing events.

Services

What We do

MAAG began as a prevention and awareness group in Sullivan, Missouri.
Several awareness walks referred to as Stop Heroin Walks occurred and
each year a Substance Use Disorder Awareness Day occurred.

As with most things, there has been a shift in services MAAG provides. Most communities are aware of the substance use problems. MAAG will now shift as well, to determine how MAAG is needed and what new services can be offered.
